On Saturday 8th November, Year 6 pupils performed with five other local schools at St Paul’s Church in Chichester, bringing the experience of WW1 to life through song.

Over the course of the term they had been working with Emily Barden, from the West Sussex Music Service, to compose their own song that relflected some of the history from WW1. Saturday was a fantasic event that raised awareness for this very special centenary anniversary.

The Year 6 pupils sang extremely well in front of a packed audience in what was a very moving afternoon.

Their song ‘How Will There Ever Be Peace’, was also performed by Year 6 at our Remembrance Day Assembly.

Thank you to Year 6 and Mrs Sole.
