Every week in geography Year 2 have been learning about our home, Chichester. We have been using maps to find local landmarks and drawing maps of our school. We have been finding out the different types of housing in the area and comparing this with Brasilia.

Yesterday we went on an exciting two-mile walk around West Chichester observing the local environment. We labelled our route map with six stopping points and took ‘story sticks’ with us to collect things along the way. When we returned to school, we retold our map ‘story’ using our sticks. Our favourite stops were the North Walls and River Lavant!
