Last week, Walnut Class interviewed some of Parklands Local Residents who had memories of life during World War Two.

The children loved listening to all their stories, which ranged from seeing the soldiers returning from Dunkirk to VE Parties.   The children felt that they had learnt so much more listening to real  life experiences than they ever would just reading information from a book.   We would like to thank all the local residents for their time in school.
