Governors

Governors have a general responsibility for the strategic direction of the school, working closely with the Headteacher and the Local Authority. They support, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the school and hold the school to account for the standards achieved and the quality of education.  Please read the 2015-2016 Annual Governance Statement for the Governing Body.

The membership of the governing body is, as determined by law, made up of different types of governor. The Governing Body is made up of parents, co-opted governors, Local Authority governors, a teacher, a member of the support staff and the Headteacher.
