At Parklands Community Primary School, we are Geographers on a mission to explore! Our Geography curriculum sparks curiosity and helps children understand their local area and the wider world. Through exciting Quests, hands-on fieldwork, and investigative learning, pupils discover the human and physical features that shape our planet. We weave five golden threads—human environment, physical world, sustainability, scale, and place—through every lesson to build knowledge year by year. With engaging discussions, creative activities, and cross-curricular links, children learn to think critically, ask big questions, and appreciate their role in a global context. By the time they leave Parklands, our pupils are confident, informed explorers ready to make sense of the world around them!
