On 17th November 2020, Parklands Community Primary School was one of 1200 schools selected for a visit by Ofsted to review our post lockdown arrangements.

Our full Ofsted Report of 2014 can be seen below.  A short inspection took place in February 2018 and the findings can also be seen below.  Parklands Community Primary School continues to be good.  The main findings were:

  • Parklands has gone from strength to strength
  • It is an inclusive school that celebrates learning and progress for all
  • It is a community where everyone knows each other and works well together to support each other’s learning
  • The school is a vibrant, happy place
  • The school has a nurturing culture even though it has grown in size
  • Teachers have high expectations
  • Behaviour is exemplary
  • Pupils who have SEN and/or disabilities make very good progress
