We are really proud of our school. It is a happy, lively and dynamic place with a team of enthusiastic, hardworking and talented staff who are all dedicated to doing the very best for your child. Our last inspection stated that “Pupils, parents and carers, staff and governors are rightly proud of their good school” (Ofsted January 2011). The Foundation Stage, pupils’ personal development and well-being, the curriculum and the care, guidance and support provided for pupils were all judged to be outstanding.
Our vision for the school is that Parklands will empower children to become happy, confident, successful citizens by providing a well-rounded education where everybody is valued. At this school every child matters and we work hard to ensure that every pupil enjoys and achieves, is healthy and safe, makes a contribution and is developing the skills to enable them to achieve future economic and social well-being.
