Homework

Homework is mainly set by the class teacher and can be for a variety of reasons:

– to support the learning that is taking place in lessons

– to develop skills required for independent learning

– to create opportunities for creativity and choice

Sometimes homework will be set for the whole school e.g. for a fundraising activity or  for a specific topic such as Christmas. There are also times when the pupils have a longer period of time to complete a project and this will often be over a school holiday.
